5 years old

As promised, here you have the file I prepared for the summer: WORKBOOK SUMMER 5 YEARS

A good page for games is ANGLOMANIACY, and a good app for the mobile or tablet is BEBOP from MACMILLAN

And have a very good summer!!

Welcome to this blog! I hope you enjoy it!

We have quite a few routines that we follow in our class:
  • Greetings
  • Date
  • Weather
  • Clothes
  • Colours
  • Numbers
  • Preposition of place
For all these routines, you can find links to different videos in the "4 years old" section. Here you can see some others that we only use with the 5 years old children.

We also practice one-to-one questions, and it would be really helpful if you could practice some of them with your children:

  • What's your name? My name is ....
  • How are you? I'm fine, thank you. And you?
  • How old are you? I'm five (six) years old.

You can practice the date in the following page (don't forget to check the "4 years old" section):

For colours and emotions, we have used "The Mixed-Up Chameleon", besides all the others in the 4 years old section:

Children can also practice numbers in this link:

For food, we have read the book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". Please remember to check the "4 years old" section where you will find some songs we practiced at school.

For means of transport, we sing along "We all go travelling By":
